Pickup & 18-point inspection

At pickup, the driver walks the vehicle with you and records an 18-point photographic condition report. Both parties sign the Bill of Lading — your protection for the entire trip.

Ten minutes of preparation makes loading faster and protects your claim rights.

Pickup-day checklist

Have these ready when the carrier arrives.

  • Wash the exterior so the inspection captures true condition
  • Keep roughly a quarter tank of fuel — no more
  • Remove toll tags, parking passes, and loose accessories
  • Disable alarms and provide any special start instructions
  • Photograph all sides yourself before the driver loads
  • Keep personal items under 100 lbs, trunk or below window line

Documents & keys

What the driver will need from you.

  • One full set of keys — ignition and trunk
  • A working phone number reachable on both days
  • Photo ID matching the booking name
  • Signed Bill of Lading — review before signing

Inoperable vehicle?

We ship non-runners too. Just flag it during the quote so we assign a carrier with a winch.
